DC Soccer Raises $20,000 for Goals for Girls 07
The DC Center for the Development and Promotion of Soccer (DC Soccer) raised $20,000 at a February 28 fundraiser for Goals for Girls. Tiffany Roberts has enthusiastically joined the Goals for Girls team as
the program spokesperson and the head coach and trainer for the trip to
South Africa. Her incredible talents on and off the field will make the
soccer and life skills camp a huge success, and her international fame
will bring crucial attention to the important task of fighting the spread

U.S. Soccer Foundation Joins the Fight Against AIDS through the Game of Soccer
The U.S. Soccer Foundation's Passback Program is partnering with Goals for Girls to provide new and gently used soccer equipment to young women in South Africa. This June, Goals for Girls will send a team of U.S. teenage girl soccer players, the Washington Soccer Club's DC Blast, to Port Elizabeth, South Africa, where they will distribute equipment donated by Passback and hold clinics for roughly 100 local South African girls. + more...

Goals for Girls creates partnership with local organizations in Cape Town and Port Elizabeth
The Goals for Girls delegation will work closely with two other charitable organization currently operating in South Africa: Grassroot Soccer and the Ubuntu Education Fund. They will also work with US and South African government entities to ensure the program has a wide reach for young girls.
